My garden is really too big to fail. I went into gardening to feed my shareholders.. um ,I mean..my friends and myself . I was not AWARE that my plants future rested in the continuation of a serene climate. I was not AWARE that I might have to consider natural inconsistencies of the earth and weather.
Over the night of April 27th/28th Wisconsin temperatures fell to 24 degrees causing a hard frost. I had NOT taken any precautions because I was told that the climate was WARMING in my area. I mean.. Yea I KNOW that Wisconsin may have a last wild frost.. but.. but.. Nobody bothered to tell the airlines volcanoes may explode randomly, either…
So, My net yearly net worth starting in May, ( including ALL tax breaks and welfare already received), is about 31,700$. So, if my garden loss is about 3000$, I have a 10% loss in income! This could kill me off. I could not FEED myself or my friends like I should and they might starve as well. I might have to figure out how to BUY canned corn or something…. Now the airlines are only taking a .01% loss on the volcano! I am in much dire straits and I want my $3000!!!! I am just too big to fail. Think of it. If I cannot deliver the jam and salsa and spaghetti sauce I usually hand out, then my friends will have to quit their jobs because of hunger and then their kids will have to shut off their cell phones which may potentially bankrupt verizon or T-Mobile! OMG! Then they will riot and destroy all of downtown and we will have to declare martial law!

Or maybe, I planned ahead… Just in case… and planted extra seedlings and saved a little back up bumper of seeds and I can just replant and I told my friends that the crop may not be as good so be prepared.
